Our grant making is premised on the notion of community philanthropy. Our aim is to shift the power inherent of development funding. We support communities to develop assets and explore the potential of community philanthropy and the spirit of local giving towards community initiatives.
COVID RESPONSE GRANTEE
“We had no source of income to sustain our operations during the pandemic. The grant enabled us to keep our operational rhythm. We are a youth led Organization, entirely dependent on cultural exchanges as a revenue stream. The lock down affected travels, making it hard for the exchanges to take place. We are grateful to Civil Collective”.

Designing strategy, tools and resources and training actors and partners in the space to advance the spirit of local giving.
Community level engagement to influence practice of local giving.
Round Table Discussions
Bringing together like minded Organizations and partners to advance theory and practice of community philanthropy in Uganda.
Our Philanthropy Partners
We are pleased with the financial and strategic partnership we have had with the Global Fund for Community Foundations. Their financial support has made it possible for grassroots actors to achieve their long term goals.
